Who we all are
Hi there,
I have been lurking for a little while and with an upcoming trip to Europe (on a Qantas JASA) decided to sign up here - I am also on Aust Frequent Flyer. Looking forward to exploring more of the travel tricks and hopefully adding a bit to the discussion.

who we all are
Hello all.
New to FT, but a 10 year overseas travel veteran thanks to the footwear industry. Originally from Maine, but I go where the jobs are. Home (in that I own one there) is in Topeka, KS, but have lived in Shenzhen, China, Boston MA and now Grand Rapids, MI. I log about 100- 110K per year on business travel to Southeast Asia. Heading out again on Monday for Hong Kong/China/Vietnam til the 19th.

Welcome !!
Dubai is a popular travel destination, in fact there was a Dubai Do (gathering of Flyertalkers) in Dubai less than 1 month ago: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/commu...-2013-dxb.html
there are also many threads on Dubai in the Middle East travel forum: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/middle-east-481/ Hope you can lend your insights as well as learn.

I'm a very long time lurker finally introducing myself. As a school teacher, I can only travel during peak times. I want to thank the collective Flyertalk community for making it possible for me to travel at reduced costs because of all of the things I've learned from you.

My wife was a teacher for ~22 years, so I am fully aware of the challenges traveling during peak times, Flyertalk helped me figure out the best way to max our miles/points for travel.

Sydney Australia here AND a newbie! I work in the community services industry. I only have a temporary appointment but when it goes permanent I am going to gift myself with a trip on Singapore Airlines A380 First Class Suites!
I like dolphins, long walks on the beach, meeting people, world peace... ok, I made that all up!
Ok, something obscure.. my first trip overseas was on my Honeymoon. I was hooked ever since. With the travel.. not that hubby!

Greetings!
I'm Don and I'm from Calgary, Canada.
I've travelled a lot when I was a kid with the parentals in Asia but now since I've graduated and working FT, I'm starting what most of my high school graduates did and see the world.
So far, I've travelled majority of North America's west coast, Mexico, gone back to the Philippines and visited Australia. I'm heading to Japan in August and who knows where else I'll end up after?
I just wing it and see where the wind takes me haha!

Hi I am Roger from Hongkong, just joined this forum.
I love traveling (in particular air travel) and I traveled a lot over the past few years, mainly on long haul. Besides traveling for work I also arrange quite a few personal trips each year.
I look forward sharing my travel experience with other friends here!
