As for shopping, H&M is a must for cool unique clothes at a decent price. And it's on Rue Rivoli which has miles of chic shops.

As for shopping. . .do not pass up Monoprix! The "Target" of Paris. Great stuff at excellent prices.

Rue deCler market on Saturday is also enjoyable (in the 7th) for those looking for chocolates they have a JosBruges store there.

And for the women who can't get enough cosmetics/skin products, Caudalie is 1/2 the price in Paris as it is here in the States.

Even though I wasn't one of the chosen, I'll go ahead and post missydarlin's number as a public service:

+33 684 78 91 78

I woke up this morning with a dreadful sore throat and cold. If I don't feel better in the morning I may have to bag. But I hope not.

ROFLMAO !!!

BTW1: if you dial in France add "O" in front of it.

BTW2: there's a cool retrospective on Air France in the Muse des Arts Dcoratifs (same building as the Louvre)

BTW3: Monoprix rules!

Yes! I bought one of my favorite shirts at the Champs Elysees Monoprix for 5 Euro. The store may be full of useless junk, but there is usually at least one thing that you need and you'll get a great price.

Awwwwwww.... I will miss meeting AlanW yet again! I hope you feel better.

We are at DFW now... enjoying the cheap wanna-be bubbles at the A AC bar. Looking forward to getting to ORD and the Flagship Lounge for real champagne.

Looking forward to meeting everyone tonight.

UA has been very good to me. SFO-CDG was full Friday, and I got an op up to F. Is this a "double upgrade", as I upgraded to C with SWU? My first trip in international F - I could get used to this. (Double status miles too!) I'm at the Cyberc@fe de Paris, 15 rue des Halles, getting in from the rain. They have "normal" keyboards.
