I must admit that I've been fascinated by the story of arturo. His posts are humorous, mysterious and clever (mostly).

It's obvious to me that he is the split personality of some other (prominent) long-time flyertalker. Fascinating!

I tried it with some covertly action but I don't get any further information about him...

So PLEASE help me with your theories and hints about his possible real person...

I just spent a week driving around litle New Zealand country towns. They all spoke like that, so it is no big deal after a while.

You are correct - arturo exists as the personality of another FlyerTalker.

I have met several FT'ers who know his true identity; however, they did not disclose any further information.

I love arturo--he is my boyfriend.

I used to have to share him with Consuelo and wingless, but Consuelo is now gone, so I just share him with wingless. That is ok, because, she has no wings and can't fly and, besides, he has to share me with Hunki and all my kids. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/eek.gif
