Look like we'll have a dozen if ChiChow makes it.
If any of you still feel you can make it please do. The restaurant said that they will easily be able to accomodate a few last minute additions.

Wow, fun time.
Good food, good beer and good company.
Thanks to Mike for grabbing the ball on this and scheduling the restaurant. The 1x3' FT "banner" made it easy to figure out where to sit w/my drink.
Thanks to Ginger K for getting the MKE visitor's (convention?) bureau to give us some nice welcoming gifts.
Thanks to Korea71 for his gifts as well.
And special thanks to Randy for picking up the restaurant tab and making it to MKE.
The Safehouse was fun afterwards, but I can not say anything, being a spy and all.

What a great time we had as all 12 who confirmed showed up. Where else but in the FTalk Community could you assemble a group of 12 mostly strangers except for posting on FTalk, who had a wonderful evening of dining and FF sharing?
There also was a bit of mischief afterwards that only "The Milwaukee 12" will ever know about, as spys are known to honor their oath of secrecy.
Special thanks to MIKEFLY for putting things together so quickly, to Randy for being such a great host, guest & good sport, & to the IL FTalkers who joined the small but hopefully growing MKE FT Community to make the night a success.

I'd like to add my THANKS to all that attended. It has definitely whetted my appetite to attend more DO's,as soon as I figure out how to explain this new wrinkle of my FT life to the family!
An extra round of thanks to Ginger and Korea for the gifts. Thanks, also to Randy for the dinner and drinks.
As the "Chief" it will be interesting to see if Randy reclassifies any of the "Top Secret" material from the night.
Also, I would like to nominate the spouses that attended for sainthood due to their understanding of our addiction.

Yikes. We may have to do this over. I was thumbing through iDine and just thinking that this dinner was going to earn me the 6,000 miles and the partner transaction i needed for the FFF3 promo of Northwest, but i didn't see Karl Ratzsch's listed in Milwaukee for iDine credit. Does anyone have more info on this? We may have to re-do this dinner at another place that earns miles - i really do need this iDine transaction.

Randy - Ratzsch's was definitely on the Dining for Miles website on Aug 7, the day we dined, indicating credit for SU-TH. In fact, I printed out their menu from the IDine website an hour before going there. It is possible they dropped out after 8/7, but my experience with this type of situation is that if you call NWA IDine @ 1-800-818-2040 and discuss the situation you will get credit. You may have to fax in a copy of your charge slip. If you have any trouble, email me & I'll put you in contact with a helpful supervisor.
Randy-Th 8/14am I called IDine & was told the following:
1-Ratzschs was in the airline program thru 8/7/03, the date we dined. Your NWA acct should show the credit by now.
2-Ratzschs dropped from the airline program as of 8/8/03, but is still in the IDine cash program.
3-If your acct does not show the credit, call IDine directly as I noted above. If you can't get it "fixed" email me & I'll put you in contact with the supervisor noted above.
Hope this helps -we don't want MKE to be known as screwup city!

Boy, by the looks of the dropping out date Randy, you reallllly scored in MKE
Having said that, I would like to thank you for the wonderful dinner party. First FT "Do" experience was certainly a great time, even commented by the Mrs. ORDNorth, who as you noticed, knew nothing about most of the crazy table conversation, but enjoyed things very much. Special thanks to Ginger & Mike for the effort, on such short notice, for The "Dirty Dozen". (And Korea71 for the nice gift!)
