Australia has taken a very drastic approach, I think even more restrictive than Japan.

And it has generally worked extremely well, though both countries have terrible vaccination rates.

I'm drinking my wine purchased at the last DO very slowly. I don't want to run out without knowing when I can restock.

Well..... Im certainly open to organizing a delayed Cow Do once the borders are again open to Tourists. Some sources sat that November may be the date for fully vaccinated visitors to re-enter the country. Today, Sep 6th is the start of a "trial" program that allows visitors from Chile and Uruguay to enter... lets hope that goes well.

Cheers,

I did see something today about an ‘open for all’ from 1st November. Any local confirmation?

A lot going on here in EZE, the Government is in full-blown election mode and has been anouncing all sorts of new measures 24/7. The first information said something about the borders being opened for Tourism starting November 1st, but, late this afternoon the "scoop" appears to be an accelerated opening of the borders with the first batch of tourists being allowed to come in starting October 1st.

This is a developing story, I will come back to post more information as I get more details.

Folks.... the Argentine Government has made it official. Borders are open for all tourists with Full Vaccination - from November 1st. Its now up to the Argentina FAA (ANAC) and the Airlines to start opening up flight schedules and slowly start getting things back to normal.

Folks, I will start a preliminary discussion on a separate thread to see if there is some sort of "consensus" to put together a November Cow-Do. I think that for planning purposes and allow for flights to get back (as closely as possible) to "normal", I would suggest doing this the third week of November, as the last week will be Thanksgiving and is probably a poor choice of dates for US based FTers......

Here is the link to the 2021 potential Cow Do event.... I just started it. Please post your preliminary interest over there....

Thanks
