I've flown through DFW probably hundreds of times, but never flown just to DFW. (too short a drive from AUS).
I've never been to Antarctica, but flown over it.
I've never flown international FC, or on paid FC/Biz for a business trip.

Love this thread - glad it was resurrected since I wasn't on board when it originally started
Ok... I can't bring myself to use anything in an amenity kit.. I just collect them (or give them away) in their unsullied perfection. I love looking through them and can't bear to "mess them up".
How's that?

I just found this thread doing a search and thought it would be fun to resurrect again if that is okay...
I collect every possible soap, shampoo, conditioning body lotion from every possible hotel, club, you name it... Like Jay Leno, I have never used my own money to buy any of that stuff (well, I guess I did pay for the hotel and therefore indirectly...)
I did sit in first and buy a guy in coach a drink with the urging of my bosses... We were on the ground for 8 hours. I had gotten everyone from the partner to the light staff to the Tax Manager who just showed up from a different job with a diffent client in a different city upgraded to first. 6 accountants... A lot of alcohol...you do the math!
I did pick up a guy who I sat next to flying with my family to Spring Break. He gave me his card (he was in Marketing for a famous beer company...) I called him months later and we went out once...
I did fly 1000 miles for my first date with the wonderful man who is now my husband.
My husband flew 600 miles for our second date.
I flew 600 miles for our third...
I flew 1500 miles to meet his parents.
He flew 2000 miles to meet mine.
This could go one for a while...so I won't bore you!
We planned our wedding in a week.
I have only used points once in my life...for our UA / Hyatt Kauai Honeymoon. Since they were my husband's points, does that even count???
I have gotten lots of bottles of champagnes from FA's for being cute!
I have planned a DO in DEN.
I have been to a DO in PHX and met lots of fun people!!!
I have done a LHR mileage run (25 hours in LHR)
I am doing a SIN Run this Friday!!! (30 hours in SIN)
I have learned a lot since I joined FlyerTalk!!!

hmmm, MHC, cant go there, its a no win answer
Like Boulder, I have every shampoo, conditioner, body soap, lotion ever made, my gym bags are all full of them.
I once told my boss that I really needed to stay an extra week to get the bonus points at the hotel.
I once, okay more than once, told my boss that I had to fly a certain route b/c it was cheaper.. well it was.. but only by about five bucks
I have many a time made reservations saying I had a baby and a bassinet just to get the bulkhead row for a long flight. No I don't have a baby.. and no I didn't show up with one
I once flew 1200 miles just to go work out at a new gym that I read about, well maybe miles had something to do with it.
and finally when I first lurked before joining and posting to this board thought you all were insanely crazy.. now look at me

* I have never owned a cell phone
* I have never refused any food in first class even if I just ate. (What's up with those people who get on a dinner flight & say "Oh I'll just have the set up?").
* I have never listened to music on a plane
I have a friend who has never used his towel to wipe off the wash basin as a courtesy to the next passenger. I swear to God.

pointsgirl: Not travel related... I learned how to ride a bike when I was 21.
why do you consider bycicling from one place to another) not being travel related?

Well, maybe it is because I never really traveled far while I was on the bike. Move two feet...fall. Move Another two feet...fall. It was really embarrassing to learn this at such a late age.
