I believe Ch. Ste Michelle is across from the new Red Hook Brewery -- I have only been to the old one in N Seattle years ago -- and was hoping we might be able to make a stop there after the brewery tour and tasting. But I would be up to doing one or two wineries in the morning, Bill.
|
St Michelle and Columbia Crest are both right next to the Brewery. It is very easy to stumble between them.
|
I've done the Columbia Crest tasting and it's a great and tasty time. Count me in!!
|
In addition to CSM and CC, there are some other wineries in the area including Silver Lake and Facelli (a must for me, but it is only open noon-4pm)
Some of this going to have to rotate around the timing of the brewery tour. |
Not to be picky, but it's not actually Columbia Crest, it's the "Columbia Winery": http://www.columbiawinery.com/ Much smaller, but it's a great tour and they have some really good wines, especially their Signature series.

I just bought a plane ticket, made hotel reservations, and sent in my RSVP!
So I guess that means I'm coming! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif Kathy |
Actually Columbia Crest, is one of my favorite wineries.
|
With all the people that will be at the SEA DO my guess is there will be more lap-sitting and FTer kissing going on here ;D
|
Just bought gas for the SUV, made a reservation at the Doubletree-Bellevue, and RSVP'd. Guess that means that MrsOpus & moi are coming.
Tomorrow must rush off to AAA to get a triptik for the complicated route from Portland to Bellevue. This is because Mapquest is geographically challenged and cannot get me out of my Private Street to the Freeway. |

Have fun Ms. Kahuna - you have earned this trip and it will be the most fun you have ever had!! ------------------ "A Mile here is an Upgrade there!" |
No, despite what you think when you meet her, she is not blonde!!
Note to self: make appointment with hair stylist to color hair so I will have a(n)(possible) excuse (?) Yes I have those butterflies in my stomach about this trip but I figure 1. I have never been to Seattle and 2. If I do anything that people who know me might think a bit out of my character, no problem! I don't know anyone up there http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif |

Hey! What's with the SeaDoo website?
http://www.markbach.com/SEA/ It's been down for the last two days (504 gateway timeout)! Kathy |
I can access the website fine from several different locations. Perhaps it's a problem with your ISP and/or it's routes?
