Modern text analysis of the Koran indicates that the word usually rendered "virgins" actually means "white raisins."

However, since Biblical analysis is not widely accepted in the world of Islam, few there take this interpretation. Islamic scholars who support it are considered somewhat heretical by the mainstream clergy.

One wonders if terrorists of that faith would be as willing to make the ultimate sacrifice if they held that expectation of what awaits them.

Well, I have a better chance of passing for a white raisin than a virgin.
