People will think I am you. Or you are me. Or I am you. Or you are I. Or chex is geo. Or is geo chex? Or at least that chex is capable of 'pulling a geo'. Now I'm confused? Is this my fault? I bet before it's all over it will be.

I'm really surprised that nobody mentioned this yet.

Is that her real picture, or someone else's?

I can't believe you guys are so gullible.

I'll retract this statement if necessary.

I can't believe you can't believe a picture when you see it.

I'd like you to retract that statement. You can email me and I'll send you another REAL picture of me.

Or you can visit me in Seattle and judge for yourself, since you obviously feel comfortable judging here.

I'm sorry I have to be so brusque, but your comment was unwarranted.

Well, I read this very interesting thread in hopes there would be some siteseeing tips for my ROAD trip to SEA 7/1-5. I will be with 2 teenaged boys and a near teen, 2 of whom are my sons. 3 Mariners games planned (7/2-4)-- tix in hand.

Any suggestions for siteseeing adventures for the four of us? How about the best place to view 4th July fireworks?

Thanks, all!

Tacky.

Subsequent brusqueness warranted.

Jon (missing out on yet another SEA function, this time because I'm in SAN)

BellissimAA, if the Chexman is too busy to take you touring in the afternoon, I will still be happy to drop you off downtown, give you a quick overview of where to go and what to see, and then come back and pick you up at about 6:00 p.m. for dinner and a ride back to the airport.

Chex, are you coming to dinner? Anybody else coming to dinner? Greg, Missy?

BellissimAA, on another note, while cute is nice enough, I could care less what you look like and can't imagine that it would mean a whit to any sensible FlyerTalker. I am just looking forward to meeting another crazy person who is obsessed with flying. OBTW, please tell us about the trip that leaves you stranded in SEA for the day.

chex -- what's "early"? We'll be at Safeco for the afternoon game?

I'm actually up for dinner if its somewhere moderately easy to get to and after say, 6 pm.

mudgal- if you don't want to sit with the hoardes at gasworks, I know a little parking garage on the UW campus that gives you a great view and easy to get in and out of than gasworks. Of course, the ambience isn't the same, but its where the locals tend to aggregate.

With all due respect, who the hell cares? Whoever is interested in meeting her, then go to the airport. If she doesn't show up, then eat lunch, and go home. Heck, there was a 50% chance for most of you to go to the airport anyway.

Bell, I don't really care if you are a supermodel or a homely housewife, but I will certainly give you kudos for becoming the sujet de la semaine with only 13 posts....

Merci, Darren!

And I'm neither a supermodel nor a housewife. I'm somewhere in between. Not that it matters - I just wanted people to know what I looked like in case we did meet. If some people on this board have a problem with that, fine. To me, looks don't make a person; it's what's inside that counts, and by thy fruits are ye known.

Obviously certain people (ahem! dhammer53) don't bear good fruit and obviously are more concerned with outside than inside, and that's not a judgment; it's a statement of fact, based on his post. It's sad that someone can't just reach out with faith and actually trust what people say. Alarming, how the world is becoming that way.

I'll make sure to stay far away from people like him. I prefer good fruit and good people who actually give a care about the rest of the world.

Punki, YGM. I'll call you later, OK? And I'm looking forward to meeting all of you!

Gaucho, I'll be sure to post the lunch pix as soon as I get back to the office.

Of course, Hunki, given the highly confidential nature of the work that goes on at the place that we are meeting, it will be very difficult to get a camera through security.... I didn't want gaucho to get his hopes up.
