JAWS, baby, do you realize what you're sayin'?

Just say when, and the next thing you know you're livin' in a dry county.

I do not drink except for one very special occasion I had with a lady friend recently. I give away all my drink coupons I get from the RCC club for traveling business class.

Well! The things that go on when your back is turned! To think that I'm on someone's Most Wanted List, and I did not even know!

This is an impossible and unfair task as when you pick 5 (some of us obviously have difficulty counting up to 5, but that's another story)because by default others may think that they are forgotten, or even unloved. I give notice that anyone who posts over at British Airways is someone that I hope to meet. So I will atempt the challenge in no particular order, and this is a backhanded snub to nobody), but I know that this will cause trouble, so I will not count to five I will just mention those who I would really like to meet (who knows maybe I have met some of you if you were flying with us).

1. Merry (a true Brit with the worst diet and a really good heart under all the bluster). this is a man who can make me smile having been to the hairdresser and had to look at myself in a mirror.

2. BlairVanHorn. Dry, droll, and able to link threads to anything glam and gorgeous.

3.Celebrian. Be3cause he's adorable

4.ScottC (I'm so used to giving them my pet names that I have to think to remember their handles) for the same reason.

5.bbinchi (should that not be bbinsea?) for reaons that are well known to him

6.RDURES1. You all know why.

7. SarahWest Bravo Sarah! I've read you and of you. You are simply insprirational.

8. Mr Randy Peterson who every so often pops in to British Airways to tell us to mind our Ps and Qs in such a way that no one could possibly take umbrage (Please come and see us a bit more often when we are being good 9or at least trying to).

9. ThaDoctA

10. Mikein Sin

No no, I can count but if I do not stop here I never will!

In alphabetical order

777Brit
dhammer53
fewmiles
Gaza
ORDNorth
The_Banking_Scot

have all given advice which has saved me time or money, helped with miles and upgrades or offered a tip which has otherwise improved my quality of travel. These folks have a beer coming should we have the opportunity to meet.

It would also be most interesting to have a conversation with

Carfield
Seat 2A
techgirl

as your trip reports read like a good book.

There's many more, but I tried to keep the list short.

So when you want to meet most of the FT universe how do you narrow it down? My short list :

PEACHESBB - Because she's just diiiiivine, MMmmmmkay?

Randy - 'Cause I'd love to meet the daddy of this place

Pucci Galore - Because she's dynamic enough to chat with for an entire 12 hour flight and never get bored

Merry - The man, the myth, the legend

SanDiego1K - Because she's incredibly kind and a lot of fun

Techgirl - I'm a JAP, she's a TAP, 'nuff said.

FlyCOToSeeTheYanks - I just GOTTA know if he's that annoying in person

Darren - The guy who got me started on RTWs
and a genuinely great guy to boot

JonNYC - My fellow convert

B747-437B He's an aviation tool, I'm an electronics tool... we're a toolbelt!

ScottC : The only guy I know who has more and better toys than I do!

but to be honest, there are very few FTers I DON'T want to meet.

I've been hesitant to post a list of five FTers I'd like to meet because it's nearly impossible to narrow down a list to five.

Some of the responses make me wonder if some are taking this a bit too seriously too. Part of my hesitation to post a list is because there is a danger that a list of "five FTers I'd like to meet" could get misinterpreted or overinterpreted or taken too seriously and become potentially as inflammatory as if I were to post a list of "five FTers I don't want to meet". Believe me, I have good candidates in mind for both lists. Seriously. But I don't think it is in good spirit to post them.

It's waaaaay more fun if you all have to guess who I want to meet and who I never want to meet.

Or perhaps I am the one who is taking this all too seriously?
