Nonsense. Later this month we can meet for dinner in some place in-between, like Jupiter or Stuart, hatch plots against the Dovster (or lacking plots, just insults), and have a few laughs.

I don't think there can be just five. And sometimes the ones you didn't know anything about are the ones that surprise you the most.

But OTOH, while I love meeting new FTers, I'm probably just as happy getting to better know the ones that I've already met.

Monitor, I know you would never insult me. Just like I know that Mr. Spock is not a fictional character and that Rome, Italy was named after Rome, Georgia.

It's neat being the sixth poster on a thread that has been active for two and a half years and runs 13 pages.

And thanks for bumping it!

I was fortunate enough to meet a lot of Flyertalkers I learned from at the Freddies this year. Gleff (5x miles on US hahahahah), Spiff, PremEx and Randy come immediately to mind but many others (Doc, Catman (I think), and a lot of the New Yorkers such as dhammer). Of ones I havent met:

longingforpiedmont
Ozstamps
ScottC
deelmaker
CPRich
BDLord

(yes I can count to 5 but I dont care)

Come to mind, but there are so many others.... Guess I have to keep flying!

So right! Two of my favorite FlyerTalkers, Franny and Jerrie, have a total of less than one post between them. Then on the other hand, some of my favorite FlyerTalkers are Evangalists and even Legends.

Re-reading this message I guess I haven't gotten very far in meeting all five over the last 30 months; I've met Empress a few times and now count him among my friends. ^

I've E-mailed Quietlion, but not in the last year or so.

I've PM'ed Randy and worked through a FT issue with him this year. He now has a standing offer for a drink in YYJ on his next visit to my part of the world. :-:

I've yet to meet Punki or Mark.
