Cozumel - I know we're going off on a tanget here, but Bloom County and Calvin and Hobbes are the only strips I've ever followed ,aside from the Far Side of course. Sadly my BC book collection is sparse as I've lost and given books away. The other two are almost complete. Who can ever forget the many adventures of Bill and Opus and Milo and the ever genious Oliver and Steve Dallas and and.... in order to make this diversion relevant to the board; How about we chase down those books and buy them with our AAdvantage cards?

now you're talking. I will be on the lookout for these as I scour libraries and used book sales for items to sell ... and I am going to search all of my boxes, maybe I still have my old books!
PS I can totally recommend the comic strip Fox Trot
Based on your list I think you would love it. I emailed you a .pdf copy of one of my favorite strips - that i just happened to already have scanned in - coincidentally, this appeared just when I was starting to learn java so I thought it was a total riot!

Hello all ... I'm in the city this weekend on a mileage run and would love to get together with one and all. So far only have plans for Satuday am/early afternoon. Am leaving Monday evening so lunch is also a possibility.

Hi Gabriel, Monday might be possible for me, don't know yet (working on a tight deadline right now and must finish by early Monday but not sure I will make it) but will try. Will know for sure Sunday.
edited to add ... if I did not spend so much time on FT and other sites, I would have finished this thing months ago!

I plan to be in the Tri-State area July 1-7 for baseball (CLE@NYY) and to visit old friends in NY and CT; e-mail me if you'd like to attend a game with a diehard Indians fan (7/2 - 7/4).
