Ok so i really am not having a haiku contest, but I have an extra ticket to sit with me in the cheapest of the cheap centerfield bleachers for the Opening Game against the White Sox.

Monday.. game starts at 2:05. I was thinking lunch at Pyramid Alehouse first.

Just waitin for those emails ....

missydarlin, my beloved goddess, shouldn't this be in Coupon Connection? I have a multually beneficial deal for you, but I don't feel right posting it here.

0524, you are correct that the Mariners will be at Yankee Stadium on May 3rd, 4th, and 5th. I will be at the game on the 3rd with a group from my school. If you're going, let me know.

I know a certain FT'er who lives near Woodland Park Zoo who will most likely be unstaffed on monday and will have nothing else to do.
...oh, and he's not chopped liver!

Bummer to miss out on this. It might be just as well, though, as I'd have to be rooting for the Chicago White Sox! <ducking>

So far all the replies have too many syllables for haiku.

Sitting at Safeco

Wishing the Mariners had

More former Yankees

Markbach, alas, though I have a 1/8 share in four Yankee season tickets, I had bad luck in the "draft" and missed out on the entire Mariners-Yankees series. I nabbed opening day, Oldtimers Day, the Giants, Mets, Red Sox and Diamondbacks, though.

How I wish I could be at that game . . . I have to wait until Lou & Co. visit the Jake. And really - are there any bad seats at Safeco?

Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
The Mariners suck
And so do I.
