For those who care, here is the first haiku I ever wrote:
Fuyu no asa
Shonben no yuge
Mierun da.
(Assuming you don't speak the lingo and apologies for the "it loses something in the translation," it is roughly:
A winter morning
Before your eyes rising
Steam from the urine
After 9 years here I am still amazed by the lack of central heating and insulation.
Go Ichiro, go! I am moving home in 3 weeks!!!
