i need a good steak! Let's pick a weekend and go get one. LarryU has suggested the Sage Brush in Morris Plains, NJ (or thereabouts). Its not TOO far from NYC. Other ideas are welcome, too!

I would also enjoy to meet some fellow Flyertalkers. I'll be in NYC from JUL 24-27, on the last leg of my 6 week summer travel plans... I'll be staying at 1 Lincoln Center in an apartment owned by a family member of mine....

I am actually flying to NYC tomorrow (6/6) and will be hanging around EWR on Saturday and Sunday. I wouldn't mind visiting SageBrush again one of these days; I think their prime ribs are great. As I will be car-less, I' guess I'll have to settle for Spanish/Portuguese in Newark.

I'll be in town from 8/23-26. I'm interested in visiting Shea to see those awful 2001 New York Mets. Probably Saturday on the game. Friday would be great for dinner. Let me know if anyone is interested. Catman says, "I'm almost set to be there."

My son and I will be in NYC July 4-8...getting in to LGA on 7/4 afternoon, having taken advantage of cheap fares out of DFW. Staying at the Millenium Hilton near World Trade Center on a super Priceline rate of less than $80/night including all taxes/fee/etc. Looking forward to a fun weekend...and maybe getting bumped along the way!

FYI,
There is a dinner planned Tuesday July 24 at Sparks, 7:00pm
Also, there is another thread for dinner the first week in August.
All new flyertalkers are welcome. The flyertalk 'hazing' ritual is that you pay.....for everyone!
Otherwise, everyone post your plans.

And if Mr. Hammer is not available or in town and I am I will be happy to meet with people for a drink or lunch or stuff.
Please post here or e-mail me at the address in the profile if interested.
I think that's one of the best benefits of boards like these: getting together and meeting new acquaintances.
Hope my paws are not stepping on your toes Dhammer!
