Hey Randy,

It's looking like one of my 2 reservations at the DO is gonna be a "no show".

So..., IMHO there's always room for you.

Furthermore, if you feel the need to play CC this weekend, they do have internet cxns in NY...

tvl4free - that's very kind of you because those seats at the DO are the hottest thing going in New York. I'm on a flight to Atlanta from DC for some smooze time with Delta SkyMiles and then I've got some seats at the Southern Regionals Elite 8 there in Atlanta for the weekend. A tough call - March Madness in Atlanta or Mile Madness in New York?

As for the CC thing, I'm only pretending, no one could actually perform that duty but the C himself. But you know, if I was at the DO, maybe a little A. "mafia talk" or B. "father and son" or C. "acceptable reasoning" or D. "conflict management" chat with some of those attending would put things back in order. Which of the above solutions do you think might work best? A, B, C or D.

Again thanks tvl4free.

BTW, I traveled with him for just a little bit down in Latin America when we were both finishing up our Million Mile LatinPass runs. Good guy if any of you ever get a chance to meet up with him.

How about "E - all of the above"? This crowd needs a tough love talk from the Godfather! Or MOM. You can practice on Delta!

While you are quizzing Marriott, how about that Concorde award? Paul Palmer assures me that the Concordes will be up and running in the next couple of months. Einar and I have been awaiting their return.

At any rate, I envy all of you eating at Red Sage. You surely do know how to pick a restaurant, Randy.

Say hello for me to my alma mater, Cornell. I would love to be able to make the DCA gathering.

I had a wonderful time. It was nice to put faces (and genders) with FT handles. The poor waiter practically had to beg everyone to order something to eat after two or three hours of non-stop talking. Thank you thezipper for nailing down the details and Randy for your generosity. I'm going to try to get to more of these FT gatherings. Let's do it again in DC sometime soon.

Let me add my belated thanks to the organizers... and to Randy for his hospitality. Another thank you goes to Naxos for the nudge that got me out of the office! I'm just sorry I didn't get to talk with the folks on the other side of the table--it was impossible due to the noise.

I do want to thank everyone for showing up, It was fantastic to see such a turnout with only a few days planning. Putting faces with handles was quite interesting too. Randy, the hospitality and down-to-earth attitude you showed impressed me alot. Thanks for making time to chat with us, if you are ever back in DC, let us know. I'm sure we would all do it again.

I'm overwhelmed--TWO FT events within three days, with no overlap of attendees (except for Randy!). It was great meeting you all and talking points and miles! Thanks again, Randy, for your hospitality and for FlyerTalk!
