PS to Brother Newself: you have some work to do before doing your mileage run...

Read the thread titled "So Long, Farewell.."

Well, I arrive at LAX on the 17th at 5:16pm, to a connection that departs at 6:53pm.

I know your flight isn't until 9:30pm, but if either of you don't mind getting to the airport a bit early, I wouldn't mind having someone by me a drink (or two) on Continental! Heck, I'm getting to know the folks in there better than the Red Carpet Club staff!

If we're a "go," I might just get United to switch my departure to a later flight to allow more time for "socializing."

Catman, that's great news! It'll be good to see you. Newself and I will make sure that the EWR Continental Presidents Clubs have ample supplies of Sam Adams in stock for you.

PremEx, you're on. Consider it a "go." I'll plan to be at LAX around 5:00 pm. Hope you can switch to a later flight. That should not be a problem for you. You've got (UA) clout!

Fantastic! I've succesfully changed my United flight out to a 10:40pm departure, so I'll see you both off on your red-eye to EWR.

Thanks MrLimo and see you Sunday!

Honeybaby has changed her flight from the 17th to the 18th so we have plenty of time to meet everyone. Since she's my designated driver, I can have a few drinks at the never-before-visited CO President's Club.

Looks good for me. I also have a PC card, so can get in two guests also. Perhaps we should agree on the PC club by Gate 120, as it is the newest and largest. We could take over the area farthest from the bar.

I should be able to make it as well. I, too, have a card, so I would be more than happy to escort two more people in.

I agree with Vulcan; the club by C120 is probably the best bet.

Mention free booze and everyone wants to show up! Any bets on Koko and Auh20 showing up? I will get there early also as I am coming in from Bakersfield. Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new friends!

I haven't been to the EWR PC so you guys will have to show me the way. Also MrLimo says the FLL PC is not built yet. They can't do that to us WILD & CRAZY GUYS!

I'm also looking forward to meeting new friends and seeing long time FlyerTalkers again. Glad that some LAX schedule changes were possible to facilitate the Sunday evening gathering. Thanks Indurain and PremEx.

I just hope that the clubs receive their full liquor orders prior to the FlyerTalker Invasions. I'll be at the LAX PC around 5 pm Sunday, December 17th (Terminal 6 across from Gate 62) to make sure. I may even have to taste the merchandise. Wouldn't that be a shame?

The EWR "120 Club" as suggested by Vulcan and dsimon, around 4 pm Monday, December 18th sounds like the winner at this moment in time, (watch out for those recounts). We'll see you all there, including Catman, and I hope doc that I'll have the opportunity to meet you.

Even though there's no FLL PC yet, there's still space available in the FLL CO terminal area around 10:15 am on Monday, December 18th if anyone is available to say hello. We should be there until our 1 pm departure.

Newself,
I'd like to come, but I think we'll be away for a long weekend. And when I'm finished, I'll have just cruised into 50,000 and 4 miles! This will finally, after all these years, mean PremEx for dhammer53.

I owe it all to you guys here. (Getting out the hanky).

Dan
