Now that all the vote and chad counts have finally concluded, perhaps some of our Floridians or anyone passing through FLL on Monday, December 18th will have the time to get together and say hello, between the hours of about 10:15 am - 12:30 pm. Try the Bar/Restaurant first which is located directly outside the Security station for Gates E-1 through E-10. If no luck there, enter through Security and look for us midway down the terminal area on the right at the Pizzeria.

jaguar, for FlyerTalkers, simply the best EWR Presidents Club! That calls for the newest one located near Gate C120. Nineteen thousand square feet currently and expanding to about 30,000 square feet, I've been told! It looks as if newself and I will only pass you on the runway. We arrive from FLL at 4:00 pm, Monday on CO FL1024 just as you are departing to LAX on CO FL135.

Perhaps you and some of the other FlyerTalkers can get the Club warmed up and restocked for us prior to your departure? Sorry our paths only cross on the runway this time. You may wish to post what time you plan to visit the Club so others are aware.

Meeting UPDATE:

Newself and Mr. Limo's CO flight arrived a little early. Vulcan and I after missing each other at the club found each other and headed to the gate to get the boys. ALong the way we first ran into DOC and then walking back were approached by Kitty Hawk who said "you must be the Flyertalkers!"

Dsimon and JeffS joined us later at the giant and new and sparkling President's Club near gate 120. What a place! We staked out our space in this large corner that we all suggested should have a big banner saying "OFFICIAL FLYERTALK MEETING PLACE!"

The Sams were delicious. Mr. Limo asked for a Jack daniels and got it in a big glass that has enough shots for half a bottle.

We talked miles and points and mileage runs and other CLASSIFIED STUFF and the holidays.

It was so good to see everyone and I can't wait to see some of you soon.
