Little to add here except to note that I too really enjoyed seeing everyone and getting together once again. Aside from finally having the pleasure of meeting MRLIMO and Newself, I got a bonus in also meeting Kitty Hawk and JeffS for the first time. Thanks again to all for coming!
BTW- They have also done some real rearranging at terminal C- everything seems a bit different than it was just two weeks ago. I mean they took down and put up lots of new walls everywhere just beyond security. Overall, it's probably an improvement for most folks! Yet, I can't wait til they are finally done with the endless construction though.

Just an echo to the other's comments about a fun time had by all. I really enjoyed meeting dsimmon, Doc, MRLIMO, Newself and Kitty Hawk for the first time. Of course it is always a pleasure to say hello in person to Catman.
Now I must say I am sooooooooooo jealous of our CO flying friends. The President's Club at EWR is very nice indeed. I think UA ought to sendtheir RCC designers and amenity people for a field trip on how to do it right.

Thank you all for making this Mileage Run my best ever, both in miles and friendships, including some new ones, as well.
At the LAX Presidents Club on Sunday:
Honeybaby, Indurain, newself and PremEx
At the EWR Presidents Club (Gate C120) on Monday:
Catman, dsimon, doc, JeffS, Kitty Hawk, newself and Vulcan
And a special thanks to newself for putting up with me for over thirty consecutive hours and allowing me to join him on his maiden Mileage Run.
At FlyerTalk, you're family! Thank you my friends and thank you FlyerTalk.

Was I at the CO President's Club? I don't seem to remember much except waking up at the Playboy Mansion surrounded by cooing Bunnies. Then some guy wearing a Continental name tag (Duane) coming into the bedroom and telling me that "we" had to go now.
On the way out the door, the Butler looked at me and smiled broadly. "Last night sir. Very entertaining. That was a classic!" Something about fingerpaints, Mickey Mouse and the Leroy Neiman collection?
I hope I didn't do anything to offend Hef.

PremEx, you're not suggesting that Continental takes better care of you than a certain other airline, are you?
That LAX PC secret passage way to Hef's world is only known to a few select outsiders.

United usually arranges for you to take the Bunnies home with you, if you desire.
Using the Continental program, I felt so...cheap!
I did have a vague memory of sliding down a fire pole to an awaiting limo beneath the President's Club. I wondered what that was all about. That was much more fun than the trek over to the Helipad and the Bunny-Copter that United makes you do.
I'm sorry if I've revealed some of the hidden perks of top-level elite status for some airlines at LAX. Non-Qualifing readers should disregard my statements and consider them just the ravings of an over-active imagination. Right, MrLimo?

What a great way to spend a day and a half! Start off with 4 hours of drinking and bs'g with good friends, then fly to Newark for coffee, then to Fort Lauderdale for bloody mary's, then back to Newark to start another 3 hours of drinking with friends, then decide that we need to fly home and have to suffer through another First Class/Business First flight. Only on FlyerTalk!
It was a great time with MrLimo! He put up with me for 1-1/2 days/nights, didn't snore on the plane, and even bought drinks (when we weren't drinking for free on the planes or in the PC's). It was also great to see PremEx again, (both standing, sitting, and stumbling) Indurain and Honeybaby, you two make a great looking couple and Alice will make a great addition to the SoCal FlyerTalk family!
The NY/NJ gang was also fun to see and meet. The Catdude, Vulcan, JeffS, dsimon, Doc, and Kitty Hawk! The new PC is fab and we certainly had a good time talking travel and telling (and showing) the UA folks how well CO is treating us! Thanks to all who showed up to see us off or greet us! I wonder if it was the free CO booze that made everyone come out to see us? There are pictures to follow from MrLimo.
I guess I should write up a mileage run report to show my fellow CO flyers how to upgrade as a silver and not having to wait for the EUA.

Ok, here are the first photos. This is the Pre-Mileage Run Cocktail Party at the LAX Continental Presidents Club on Sunday 12/19. There will be more photos to follow.

Just reviewing the pictures again, I noticed that John Travolta is standing over one of PremEx's shoulders. I hope you can figure out which one of us he is?

Premex, you cheated by throwing in that picture of the Catman. That was for the NYC group pictures to follow. Oh well, I hope all of you can enjoy that smiling face of the Catman enjoying his Sammy. I think there is a picture of him drinking a Coke instead of a Pepsi upcoming.
Indurain, when Honeybaby is in a picture with you she sure improves the quality of the photo!
