Punki,

Let me be the first to congratulate you on a job well done! I'm looking forward to seeing you, everyone who attended the party last year and all of the new faces I have yet to meet.

I have volunteered to transport three people from a hotel to Chinooks on Saturday night. Let me know who/where... thanks!

All I would need is SOMEONE to get me from my hotel The W Hotel on Fourth Street? to Chinooks, otherwise I'll take a cab. Please let me know if it's within walking/Cabbing distance.

Looking forward to it.

Just hope my flights from my secret trip are on time!!!!

Would anybody be kind enough to pick me up at the Westin for dinner at Chinooks? Shadow is staying there as well, maybe he would need a ride too.

Hi Punki:

What a fantastic weekend you have planned. I will be able to make all scheduled events other than the Boeing Tour . I am really looking forward to seeing you again and meeting all the great people you told me about. That flight we shared will end up being my best ever! I have a large SUV and would be glad to help with rides to from Airport or in town. Let me know if I can be of help. Looking forward to it. High Life

Punki and company, if you got one more seat at Angelo's then count me in (flight on UA and traffic depending.)

I should make it by 1pm. So send positive cat vibes that all my flights are ok.

Thanks and see ya in about 2 wks!

Update on the pub roll, er, pub crawl portion of our weekend.

For the sake of convenience, let's have our kick-off pint at The Pike Pub and Brewery, mere steps from the famous Pike Place Market and a few blocks from Wild Ginger. Click the location link if you need directions, and the beers link for a detailed suds list. Plan to meet around 9:30-ish for the first round and we'll take it from there.

Prosit!

Punki and Joe, you have put together an Olympic proportioned venue of fun in Seattle. Sorry for not RSVPing sooner. Joanne and I are definite for dinner at Chinooks.

Im staying back and forth between the downtown Madison Marriott and my brother-in-laws in Magnolia. Im up all week, and I still have the Metropolitan Grill twitch, so if any locals want to try Tuesday or Wednesday, please post or email me.

Joanne and the baby (Abigail Sophia) are coming up Thursday, and as babysitting is only confirmed on Saturday night, Im little up in the air about the other Gold Medal events. Id very much like to go sailing if theres room, but will play it by ear. Ive heard people rave about the Wild Ginger, so that should be great. I want to hitch my wagon for at least one leg of the pub crawl, so probably will connect at Pike's Market with y'all.

Again, Punki and Joe, thanks for playing host committee and for all this work and planning. Barry.

Yes, much thanks to Punki and Joe for making this happen (dinner for almost 30 people!).

Is there a party central hotel at SEA? We will be staying at the Westin.

Punki,

Have you organized a list so I know who and where to pick up for dinner on Saturday?

It sounds like quite a few of us are staying at the Westin: TropicalFlyer, Shadow, Kyklin, myself. Anybody else? What time is everybody going to check in and out? Should we all ask to be on the same floor so we can make it our party headquarters?
