essxjay,

I will give you the lead and will follow you on the tour of hophead heaven! I can get Red Hook down here but not Deschutes so lead me into paradise my dear and I will be forever grateful! (until next year's NBA playoffs)

Looks like the consensus is that the Met is just too many $$$$$$$$$$$ for the majority, so we will find another restaurant for Saturday night.

The new and improved scheduled is as follows:

Friday afternoon: Boeing Plant Tour

Friday night: Pub Crawl (or Roll for those who over-indulge).

Joe and I will be happy to give rides from the airport to downtown if you will advise arrival times.

Saturday morning: Sail from Elliott Bay to Bell Harbor on our boat.

Spaces on the boat will be assigned on a first-come-first-served-basis so reserve your spot NOW. Even if you think I know you want to be on the boat, it would probably be a good idea to confirm that.

Saturday afternoon: Lunch at Anthony's at Bell Harbor.

Saturday night: Main Flyer Talk Dinner (location--less expensive than The Met--TBD)

Sunday morning: Brunch at a location to be determined.

Sunday afternoon: Visit to Museum of Flight

I have just sent a bulk e-mail so if you didn't get one now and are interested in being on the list, please let me know and I will make the proper adjustments.

Okay, what about Avenue One on 1st Avenue.. they have a great view of the Sound in their private room. Or how about Chinooks for true Seattle casual neighboorhood dining with a great view?

Sorry to hear about the troubles with the Met. When I called last month they said it was possible to make reservations for a table of 10 with the permission of a Manager. Is it possible to be sneaky and make a couple of reservations for 2 tables of 10 or 5 table of 5? I know we will not all be together but if we get enough tables we may be close together. Most of the intital interest in this thread was generated with the idea of meeting at the Met. If anybody is interested we can start to group together and reserve tables now.

How many miles does one get for that bus segment SJC-SFO? It's an 8xxx number I think. Shuttle-like actual miles only? 500 miles minimum?

OMNI for that pix: Yes, I finally had my first yard of beer and drank KOKO under the table!

Funny pix, isn't it>

BUT I decided the whiskers are coming back, ASAP! I even scare myself and the first time Eddie saw me whiskerless, HE ATTACKED!!!

Oh how fabulous to have Ken and Danielle even thinking about coming. Finally I can deliver my bottle of wine.

essxjay the oyster and vodka sampler is to die for! I love sitting at an oyster bar and just keep ordering food and drinks. Reminds me of the Fishtale in Long Beach.
