We had a great time, thanks to the organizers. wendolene really enjoyed talking to Pudding Guy and the others.
(This is the part where I am supposed to explain how my spouse, now having met other Flyer Talkers, no longer thinks I am so strange. But I'm afraid wendolene will always think I'm strange, and it has nothing at all to do with FlyerTalk).
Anyway, the two of us will be in Chicago Nov 23-Dec 1, although that is probably not a good time for any sort of event, since hotel rooms are very hard to find that week.

A very nice evening. We very much enjoyed meeting other FTers. I think Marsha may be a new convert. Thanks much to dgolds and Rudi for organizing.
... and a special thank you to Comicwoman for a lovely breakfast on Sunday.

It truly was a wonderful time - our first FT get together. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone and being with such relaxed and truly friendly and welcoming people. We can't wait for our next one. Thanks so much to dgolds and Rudi and everyone else who put this together.

Oh gosh, I am so sad to have missed it (David's Party). David, where were you, AnnaS and your pictures this morning???
Fortunately, I did get to meet many wonerful FlyerTalkers at breakfast, including Twiz, who I believe might just be the most handsome and intelligent of all the FlyerTalk gentlemen. (Before you get defensive guys, you have to meet him. I would die for his brains or his eyelashes. *sigh*).
Then we went shopping and Joe made out like a bandit--what is wrong with this picture???
All and all it was a wonderful day tripper experience for us.
