I don't know if I will be in Chicago or Kansas, so I can't get my tickets. If I am in Kansas, the trip will be free, as it would be my trip home. I will have to "pay" when I get home...two weeks away might not go over too well on the home front.

I may be in Las Vegas during same "Board" Meeting, October 15 -17. I will know positively within the next week.

Bad news, the car voucher will only allow me a free full size car. I'm working on National to allow me to upgrade using a coupon to get the van instead so I'll keep everyone informed.

OMNI: I have a confession and I hate to admit this... I have NEVER played REAL GOLF> As you know, I have played the smaller version (of which my accountant Frank still has the bump on his head) so I would like to learn.
Yes, I can go to Chelsea Piers and practice or hire some cutie golf pro to show me, but if anyone is willing to show me a few tricks I will be grateful (I.E: Steak, cigars, wine, etc.)
If you all are golfers then I need to get in the game too. It could be fine. I could give that Tiger person a run for his money!

Maybe we can see about getting a golf game going on Saturday so we can watch Catman tee it up. Helmets are optional. I wonder if there are any comped rounds available. I'll check on my end but if not we can always pay to play.

There is a remote possibility I might have to go back to Fort Irwin again in mid-October which would dovetail nicely with some planned vacation time in Vegas. No need for a hotel room... staying at my brother's while in Sin City.
As is usual, won't know any specifics or whether I go back until I return to SAT after this current trip.

Hey, Catman: Got two nights, gratis, at the Lady Luck for the 14-15th (Thurs-Fri), courtesy of one of the fine folks here at WebFlyer. She couldn't use her nights so she gave them to me.
Any update on the festivities? Golf? I should mention there's a chance that I won't be able to make it--won't know until the first of the month--in which case I will be donating that two-night stay to the first FlyerTalker who asks for it. But I want to go pretty badly, so I hoping for the best.
