Vegas in October

a new mini-ft party is in the planning stages. it's looking like oct22-24 for las vegas. so far, it's just catman and myself flying in late on oct22, and staying in the downtown area (lady luck casino); but the more the merrier, so let us know if anyone else can make it.

p.s. this would be a perfect time to meet and discuss the FT Vegas Venture: http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/Foru...ML/000152.html

I love Vegas in October (and November, and December...). I was there, in fact, last October. Quite a time. I will try!

Please provide more details as they become clear.

auh2o, craig6z and I will be in LAS from 9/28-9/30. He leaves on the 30th, but my flight doesn't leave until 4:00pm on the 1st.

What time do you get in on the 1st? I'm staying at the Rio, will probably get a late check-out and have some time to kill. Any diversion other than the casino would be most welcome...

Wish I could get back for the late Oct. 'do', but I'm leaving for PHL on the 23rd.

Hmmm, this Vegas thingy might just work for the wife and me. I've got free Southwest Coupons (Moooo!!)and some miles for Hotels, maybe my schedule will allow it. Keep the thread going or let me know in a month or so.

Cheers Scott

I think that the 15 - 17 will work for me, subject to no last minute changes. Is everyone staying downtown or on the strip? Even my wife wants to go! Viva Lost Wages!

Cheers Scott

Rats. I'm running the Marine Corps Marathon on October 24th. As much as I would love to be there, Chivas Regal, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, mimosas, and gin & tonics are definately NOT on my training diet. After the 24th... that's another story!!!

Shadow -

I have not purchased tickets yet (I don't what mid-western "paradise" I will be traveling from yet). I will let you know when I buy them. But it is a safe bet I will be in by noon.

I too can change to Oct 15th-17th!!!

Luckily I was in transit and had no time to buy the tickets. I came thisclose while being stuck in Denver but better judgement (and this cute woman I was talking to... OH! YOu don't want to hear about that story!
convinced me otherwise.

And you get to see a master at blackjack in action!

punki - looking at Catman's published schedules here on "our" board - he should be in NYC then - but I am afraid he may have no money/credit left ... (looking ath this LAX thread and on the trip report from his last visit - hut he is in good training for the PiP too - hicks/hicks/hicks ...)
