Map for YVR Do - Hotels, Meet up points, etc

Availability for Friday evening for pre-drinks/dinner:
  1. Bohemian1 (I'm up for any pre-dinner drinks.)
  2. NewbieRunner (As I'm arriving on Thursday I'll be around on Friday for any daytime activities and drinks/dinner.)
  3. polkacat (I get in Friday around 12:45 pm so am up for some group functions that day.)
  4. ANC RED-EYE (arrive Thursday evening)
  5. jrl767 +1 (ETA ~1600)
  6. pudgym29 (Available for Friday daytime activities also.)

Saturday: Meet at 10:15am for a 10:30am departure by the Starbucks inside Waterfront Station (601 W Cordova Street)
Sunday: Meet at 10:15am for a 10:30am departure in the North Plaza of the Vancouver Art Gallery (850 W Georgia Street)
Walks will last about 2 hours and should end in the vicinity of food.

LOL I don't know about being a Mistress ... however, yes, 7:30pm is correct.

@pudgym29 - if you are in the neighborhood, interested in a cocktail at The Keefer? It's a 15 minute walk from Postmark.

They open at 5:00 I believe.

I'm a craft beer drinker (but I do slum sporadically). Cocktail lounges are not my favo(u)rites.
I'm on a 1-day TransLink pass (CDN$10.25) (In Chicago, a 1-day CTA pass costs $10.00.). So I would opt to ride from any venue to Yaletown.
Just looked at the map. Naaahhhh. I'll see you at Yaletown. Until then.

Nope. But I've been at similar places in London and New York. Can't speak about other FT members however.

This is another underpublicized reason to attend a Japan Do. There are venues in Shinjuku and Roppongi (& Ikebukuro and Ueno) where.., yeah. They even tolerate gaijin.

Sadly, I'll be there in two weeks but with colleagues who may not have the broadest of tastes. But good to know for future reference.

Just arrived at the Wall awaiting word on whether the Sub-Do in the lounge is indeed a thing. If not, will see you all at dinner.

And did all you rats take every room on the 25th Club level? I had to settle for one floor away. Still within spitting distance of the lounge, though.

googlemaps says ~17 min walk from our hotel (Delta Suites) ... so to get there ~1730 we should depart in about half an hour

I got here and, for a lack of anything more creative to do, am camped out at a table in Bar One in the North Tower of the Sheraton.
