Thanks, I am indeed in town again and will be coming along to the wine tasting, Don Julio, and possibly Montevideo. Looking forward to it!

Not sure I can ever afford it again now that you can't use the Chase free night there.

They usually have good availability for cash and points as well as DSUs/TSUs at this time of year.

In terms of plans for the Sunday, I have to be in Montevideo for dinner, so am booked on the 5pm Buquebus. If anyone is thinking about a day trip, my ticket is flexible and I could get the morning boat instead.

Still watching this, my house looks to be fine, but the bigger question is when operations will resume at IAH. Don't think they have flights resuming until Wednesday or Thursday.

IAH closed until at least Thursday at noon, and UA819 on Thursday is already cancelled. I'm now coming from Sydney to EZE via SFO and PTY. Now arriving Thursday 9:30pm.

That's one way to get there!

My office is closed until further notice, so maybe tomorrow will be a good day to drop the vaca request, considering nothing is happening anyway.

If your office is closed anyway, does it count as a vacation day. I would assume that they're just telling staff to stay home and planning to pay everyone like normal.

I am really sorry that I will not be able to make it to Cow Do XIII. I am supposed to leave Manila, Philippines August 28. The earliest I could leave for Houston is September 1. I don't really know what to expect when I come back. You guys have a great time.

Wow, three people from the Houston area interested in COW DO this year. You'll be in our thoughts this weekend.
