Great idea! Hope there are still 2 slots. tba on chicken & beer after.
Mrs. GarySTL is also worried about Kim Jung Un. I told her we'll talk to him at the DMZ. And if the whole thing heads south, the grown kids inherit early.

Looks like it's a go for me ^
Now to transfer some points to KE and figure out lodging.
And I know I'll need to go to the KE forum, but can one redeem for KE and AS on one KE award?
Thanks!

Thanks Fifa for sharing the info about the flash sale at the Conrad. May consider switching from the Ibis Styles Myeongdong to the Conrad. A bit more expensive, but a totally different class of hotel. As a gold member I think I get complimentary breakfast and maybe an upgrade. I'm just worried about the location. I like the location of the Ibis, right in the centre of Myeongdong and it's night market. I'm afraid the Conrad might be isolated? Conrad rooms look amazing though. Decisions....

Also with the number of Hilton Diamond members that are staying there, while I can't promise anything, you have a reasonable chance at being guested into the lounge for happy hour (if the Conrad allows it). At Oz Fest last year, we had a decently good system to get non-Diamonds and not-upgraded golds into the lounge.

Thanks krazykanuck, good advice!^
The more I read up on this hotel, the more I'm tempted to switch. It is a great price indeed and makes up for the crappy Canadian dollar lately. I love technology and this hotel is out of this world. Are upgrades for gold members at this hotel achievable?
