I've also recently registered, please add me to the confirmed list. Unexpectedly was able to free myself up for the trip and am looking forward to it!

Calchas Aug 21, 2016 8:25 am

I am interested in attending. I will confirm a little closer to the time.

A couple of us depart Berlin on Tuesday, so Monday we might do something.

Good news restlessinRNO is coming. It will be good to catch up.

The pub crawl is sold out?? I may have to reconsider participation. ;)

I noticed the same thing - will any more spots open up for the beer tour?

nomadic.relief and I are going to do something to sort out this situation. Probably two pub crawls running on slightly different routes so that we can all get into the venues. Berlin isn't so big on Bavarian-style beer halls catering to 5000 people at a time.

Looking at the confirmed list, it might seem like 5000 people :D

And the number doesn't include me or beckoa or flospi or restlessinRNO or violist to name but a few. ;)

Oh lawdy. Assumed you were on there. I was really just counting myself, *A Flyer, and nomadic.relief :D

Anyone else going to MUC for that weekend?

Hello from MUC airport. We've just checked out of the airport HILTON (nice, convenient, full restaurant bfast for Gold) but warning: No Executive Lounge, at least as of this date.

I'll get to it, I promise.

I'm definitely in for the events on Saturday. Might stick to the VFT Stammtisch vor Friday and Sunday... but if a space opens on the Beer Part on Friday I am sooooooo ready for that!

No problem! It doesn't matter as long as folks register for the events they'd like to attend. :)

FWIW Japan Do organisers don't try to compile a general list of Do attendees either confirmed or potential/interested. People change their mind/plans and it is impossible to keep the list accurate/up-to-date. We do try to keep track of attendees for individual events especially if pre-registration/payment is essential.

ysolde Aug 24, 2016 11:09 am

Oh, just one caveat in our case: we are flying in to FRA the day before on LH. So we are hoping to be in Berlin in time for all the events, barring one of those LH str . . . work "issues" that shall not be named. ;)

Calchas Aug 25, 2016 1:51 am

I have registered my attendance. :)

I'll probably be staying at the Hotel Indigo in Alexanderplatz.

Looking forward to meeting everyone.

What's the schedule looking like for Thursday night? Possibly arriving a little on the later side and wondering whether it's worth trying to hurry over to dinner or whether it'll be more or less done by the time I get into town...

*A Flyer Aug 29, 2016 5:40 am

Dinner venues are now being locked in:

Friday Dinner - Restaurant Weihenstephan (at Hackeschermarkt, www.weihenstephaner-berlin.de). We will be able to order a la carte from the extensive menu.

Saturday Dinner - Buffet at Maximillian's (EUR25pp) featuring the following menu. Drinks will be ordered and paid for separately on the night.

Appetisers

                Main dishes

                            Desserts

All times are GMT -6. The time now is 5:33 pm.
