This is high on my list. The last time I was in Berlin was in 1989 and my cousin and I chopped a piece out of the Wall. We also had a very surreal dinner in East Berlin and got stuck returning to West Germany due to a heavy fog. Talk about matchbox Trabants that we saw (crushed by crashes). A hundred yards from an exit near Magdeburg but we weren't allowed to get off.
It will be eye opening to see the changes. |
With the pending AA award chart changes I have ticketed the following 80K First Class Award:

Departing on BA 981 Oct. 10 Currently booked at the Hampton by Hilton Berlin City West (not sure if this is the right part of Berlin. I will wait for the organizers to advise) BA F LHR-DEN with 5 hours at LHR so I will get to spend time in the Concorde Room. I visited the original one years ago and can't wait to see the new one. |
