Food choices look great!

Sadly, I'll be arriving too late to make the Thursday dinner, but I am very much looking forward to Friday's!

I think am going to go over now and attempt to make up missing Thursday's dinner by having lunch at the Hofbrauhaus here in PIT. ;)

Tristan just looked at these menus, smiled, and said, "Food!" in a voice not dissimilar to Homer Simpson's. Pretty sure this bodes well . . .

Haha, awesome! Weinstephan is my dad's home town brewery!! Been going there, well, since I was a toddler really! :D

The countdown is now on 34 days until I use my other passport again!!! :D

*A Flyer - thanks for all your efforts.
One question though - no offense - but why on earth do you book two Bavarian dinners in the capital of, well, Prussia?

I can't speak for *A Flyer, but having organized a DC Do several years ago (and being involved with the DC Happy Hour group for a long time), I can tell you it is really hard finding venues willing and able to handle large groups, particularly where you don't know exactly how many people will show up until the day. I'm guessing there will be plenty of venues offering Prussian cuisine that we can visit for lunch between the tours *A Flyer has arranged.

Berliner currywurst all day long...

gvdIAD hit part of the nail on the head. I've been in touch with multiple restaurants and finding ones which would accommodate the size of group we have, provide flexibility in terms of meals and offer a compelling price point was challenging.

Maximillian's does offer a Berlin cuisine buffet but I opted against this to ensure that there was a range of food that would be suitable to all guests. Unfortunately, the Berlin menu was far more limited in terms of vegetarian options and, while I'm not opposed to the Prussian dishes, the Bavarian menu is more appealing to a wider range of people.

If there is a clamouring for the Berlin buffet, I can look into changing this but I'll also need to check how many vegetarians we have (if any).

For the sake of transparency, and so people can clamour for it, this is the Prussian Menu:

I think you should do whatever is easier for you to organize, I am sure we will be well fed on German food wherever we go. ^

Please add me to the confirmed list, I did also register on the online link you provided.

I'm perfectly happy with the original buffet :)
