Oh-oh, plans have fallen through. My wife's work schedule has changed and she cannot make the trip, so we will be a late cancellation. This is a shame because I thought I'd put together a fairly clever itinerary for us, and I was looking forward to touring both Sitka and Juneau, and especially visiting Glacier Bay. I'd actually booked the award tickets before the dates were announced, and done a good job at guessing the schedule!

I enjoyed the Kodiak trip last year and was hoping for more of the same good times. I know you all will have adventures... be sure to check the spare before heading out on one of those spontaneous drives down country roads!

jackal, I've updated the Wiki to reflect this change -- you may want to check for accuracy

Regrets -- Paul B.

Sorry to hear. Hopefully catch you at the next BOS DO (Well after teh summer BOS DO since ill miss)

I cleared the waitlist for SIT Car Share

Beckoa, I added you to the JNU Car Share, 7-seat minivan with a queston mark as i was not sure what you were doing since you were on waitlist for Jackal+1's car so left you on both

I'm not sure he knows what he's doing, either. There might be a second SIT car-share opening up...if he can get his rear in gear and update the wiki.

I regret, I must go from interested to out this year. Now have an interview same weekend in Fl. Wow what a polar opposite climate..

I was really looking forward to it. Glacier bay was definitely on my list of musts along with fishing for halibut

Have a great time.

On Thursday the 10th, The Today show will be broadcast live from Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau. Just in case anyone wanted a quick preview of what we will see, remember to tune in.

I'm not sure how i did it but ended up in 30F on the 737-400 from ANC-JNU-SIT Last row right in front of the lavs. My furthest back seat ever

Hopefully we don't run into weather problems in GST

109 Delta passengers sleep in SeaTac after fog turns back plane

Alaska Airlines service in Juneau was mostly uninterrupted. Of 17 daily flights, one didn’t make it. The afternoon flight to Gustavus was cancelled on both Saturday and Sunday.
