I am sorry to hear about your family situations, toomanybooks and KMA26. I wish you and yours the best.

I won't be able to make it this year, either. We'll have to have twice as much beer next year.

Here's my unofficial tally for the BRU DO:

Friday - Night of Great Thirst
Who: polkacat, malmostoso, richtravels, srletend
Where: Meet at Park Inn at 1700 to take train
Saturday - ZBF
Who: polkacat, Michilander +1, richtravels, srletend
arollins, will you be attending?
Where: Looks like train from Brussels Midi to Leuven
Sunday - ZBF
Details to be determined, but appears to be at least polkacat, richtravels, and srletend

Looks like the following people all at the Ren: Michilander +1, richtravels, srletend

Please reply if I missed you or got something wrong!

I just heard about an organized bus trip to Great Thirst, leaving from Cantillon. See this guy's Facebook Timeline earlier today. Several stops at cafes for beers and food on the way.

It appears that a couple of my crazy yellow-and-red Danish friends are on this trip.

See you next time; twice as much should not be a problem!

arollins is my Chicagoland buddy. I know for a fact he is not coming: has some health issues.

Hi, sorry to say, but I have to miss this one. Had some health issues this past Tuesday the 15th and currently on rest. Dr order to take it easy for the next couple of weeks and then rehab. The schedule is excellent, might I add a get-together for all attending at Big Delirium cafe, http://deliriumcafe.be/?___store=del...eliriumcafe_fr
Great place for everyone to gather, good beer and then do some sightseeing around the city.

I did manage to change my dates, so we will be attending BRU on July 16-21, granted, no ZBF, but there is plenty to do and see.

Enjoy, and see you on ZBF 2015.

Thanks for the summary!
I won't be coming by train though, so please don't wait for me. I'll look for you in Eizeringen - let me know what you'll wear

By the way, earlier the "Belbus" was mentioned. Here is the link to the info about it:

I believe the busline number 69 is the one that stops at the Abbey. Hope this helps.

Thanks for this link.

Remember that visitors are not allowed in the Abbey itself, just the cafe across the street.

So, do you have to pre-book a trip back to the train station for a specific time?

I think folks had a good time tonight despite shuttle issues. ! Malmostoso, sorry we did not connect!

Planning to be at ZBF at opening tomorrow - down the right side towards the back as you walk in.
