So sad to hear this news. With how large this community is anytime I saw a post by Cordelli it stood out. My thoughts are with his family and those who knew him. RIP Mike.

Wow. This is a shock. He will truly be missed, and you're right, there is now a void on Flyertalk that nobody can fill. RIP

Franny and I are also in shock from hearing this news.

We mostly knew Mike from the FT Wine DOs and always held him and his thoughts in high esteem.

RIP Mike. We already miss you.

Rest in Peace, Cordelli.

I just saw this posted on the FT home page. I'd have missed it had I not accidentally ended up at there.

This is a great loss for our community. I never met him but I've always appreciated the professional way in which he has always responded to people here on FT (particularly the Hilton forum where there can lots of snark). He was one of the FTers that I've most respected.

I'm sure there is already a thread somewhere so feel free to merge this, Mods. But I thought I'd post here OMNI since many OMNIities may not have caught the front page today.
