Leaving on a last minute work trip tomorrow so, unfortunately, Monday (19th) is no longer going to work for me. Also, I'll be out of town on July 4th. I'll keep watching this thread for now, but sorry I'll be unable to organize/join any meet ups in the next few weeks.

Since either choice mentioned for the July 4 lunch is at least a 15-20 minute walk from a Metro station, we can pick up and drop off at one of them.

I have made a reservation for 6 people for Brine at 1 p.m. on July 4th. I assume I can adjust the numbers if necessary, so please let me know about changes.
I can also offer a ride from the metro if someone needs one, but won't have time between now and then to get the AC in my car fixed.

You all enjoy-- I'll be flying to JFK at that time for an almost last 747 flight to AMS that night on a KL Combi.

Keep hoping one of these line up so I can make it, but I seem to have really bad luck with that.
Now, I am not sure what the difference is between these Happy Hours and a DO, but I thought those of you who hang out in this Happy Hour thread may be interested in this thread:

I find myself with changed weekend plans, so if you still have a spot available, I'd like to join for lunch on Tuesday.

A notice that the traffic in and around the Strawberry Lane entrance to the district is a horror show, especially when there is likely to be a street closed down to create a holiday pedestrian mall.
Therefore, IMO the best way to enter is via Eskridge Rd turning in on District Ave or Merrifield Cinema Dr. The latter is a relic of the former use of the area as a sixteen-plex movie theater but is now its southern border and is almost strictly residential, customarily seeing very little to no traffic heading backdoor into the Mosaic.

I find myself having to be in Crystal City on Friday 8/18.
Anyone interested in joining me at Jaleo Hour or some
similar? I plan to be there at or before 5 pm.
