Now in the ORD AC btw H/K concourses. Met Spiff flying back from HNL. Hanging with WanderLuster and CubsGirl at the bar. Stop by and say hello if anyone's around! *Still* wearing grey Berkeley sweatshirt and red backpack.

1/6/12 was my first MR ever (have always been a WN guy). Went smooth as silk. Flew to SFO with a couple FTers, hit the Admirals Club (which I joined at 5 am) for 45 minutes, back on and home to Chicago. That allegedly 4:55 pm ORD arrival is padded: expect 4:20 or so. Hit the Club again for a few "free" Sapporos and home.
Half empty on the way out, full on return.
WN coach seats are a lot more comfortable than AA's.
www.theparkingspot.com turned out to be great. Thanks ORD-TGU for the recommendation. $7.95 all-in with coupon from their site plus they have a "stay 7, get 1" program.
Back at it 1/10/12! I will wear a "Hello, I'm toomanybooks" sticker.
New OP info from 2millionquest as of last night has been posted.

The following flights weren't originally booked as a mileage run, but I thought I would put it in for consistency:
01/08 AA1155 ORD-LAX 09:00 -11:30 uxb (P)
01/11 AA2414 LAX-DFW 07:15 -12:15 uxb (P)
01/08 AA1155 ORD-LAX 09:00 -11:30 uxb (P)
01/11 AA2414 LAX-DFW 07:15 -12:15 uxb (P)

Be advised:
1/7/12 1536 SFO-DFW 1030-1555 TR7_DFW(G), mycorrado(G) has just cancelled.
These SFO-DFW flights are full all day. That blows my chances of a standby upgrade on the 1:40pm SFO-DFW today.
Agents are going to have trouble rebooking people.
PS - my upgrade cleared at T-4 hours. surprised me but I am pleased.

I'm just glad there hasn't been snow derailing any of these MRs for us. Aside from a few MX/crew delays, things have been smooth sailing.

Yep, I was booked on that, so won't be in SFO tomorrow. Given my rescheduling options (SJO or redeye back through LAX) I took the refund. Didn't press for an ORC with a note that I should qualify for bonuses. This is just a cushion run so I am not pressured at the end of the year.
EXP rep: "You were just doing a day trip?"
Me: "Yes, and just for the mileage so I don't care what we do with the reservation"
EXP rep: "If it is just a mileage run these are the flights I can get you on, otherwise we can do a refund since it was a cancelation."
Her exact words.
When I was first qualifying for EXP I was doing a rather complicated MR and ran into weather. The non-EXP rep was more like "... are you doing?"
Both are funny in their own way.
I will see several of you towards the end of the month.
Edit: Really surprised that abbreviation made it on the censor list, sorry about that. I will put it this way, it wasn't a customer service high point for the agent, but I thought it was funny.

That one got me too. However I was able to come up with a DFW-LAX-ORD-DFW routing instead of my original plain vanilla DFW-SFO RT. DFW-SFO tickets honored DFW-LAX as an even exchange due to the cancellation. Thank you AA Res!
Anyone going to be in LAX AC between 0905-1020 tomorrow Sunday 8Jan or ORD AC between 1630-1740? I'm a member and can guest people in, if so.
