IIRC, if one needs to rely on 35 to get somewhere for lunch, one needs to start out immediately after breakfast.

Pa, what's the line etiquette? If I get there and other Megadoers are already in line, can I just join them? Or will that get me strung up and run out of town for cutting? My arrival time will be at the mercy of Interstate 35...

Can I give my order to someone going diirectly to Franklin in case we get turned away, or do they limit how much you can order?

I was wondering the same! I read the article posted earlier about this place, and drool when thinking about that sandwich.

This would be a lot more tolerated than 30 folks cutting in line, I'm sure. ;)

I've heard that Aaron will try and discourage take-outs in the 20 lb. range, but no one is even going to blink at someone ordering a sandwich to go with their in-house dining. I've done that on numerous occasions.

The key is finding someone not going to Amy's to do this for you.

Well I could always invest in another...

How humid are we looking at? Heat is one thing- humidity makes me run for a/c

Going to be about 80% for Thursday...more like 95% on Friday. Saturday and Sunday are going to be glorious. No humidity and hi's in the mid-70's.

Probably back around 9 or 915 if anyone wants to meet up at the WXYZ. I've got an AS shirt on with shorts/sandals ;)

Just enjoyed amazing TexMex ;)

I certainly am interested, for at least Thurs & Fri nights.

I'm in Austin and didn't even realize there was a do. Count me in for breakfast and some events. Flying out Friday morning.

monitor Apr 19, 2012 12:26 am

Finally in at the Westin and thinking of sleeping until noon and then heading over to the afternoon event at the LBJ library.

Anybody who misses the bus and needs a ride from the Domain at about 1230 just shoot me an e-mail.

To be more precise, I'm presently in San Antonio and driving to Austin first thing in the morning. I have my own car and can fit 2 additional hitchikers in the vehicle. My mother is traveling with me. She utilizes a walker so I hope there are ramps for today's activities.
