So happens that "there was a whole lotta shakin' going on" today in DC so we're all preoccupied with that. Enjoy and have a good dinner at the Morrison House.

Hello, all!
I recently (last week) moved to DC from Fort Worth with my new wife. monitor has had many good things to say about this group, and I'd be interesting in dropping by for the next do.
I live in the Foggy Bottom area, going to law school at GW in the evenings, Mon-Thurs.

I'll try to schedule something for a Saturday or Sunday in mid-September.

FYI the 2941 lunch was pretty good. tomorrow is last day.
im curious how much larger the chocolate cake is during regular dinner menu.
weekends mean brunch would be possible. some decent places are even doing all you can eat made to order, like masa.

How would lunch on Sunday September 18 work for folks? We can do it in the District -- FREE PARKING!
Anyone have suggestions/preferences? I'm partial to Penn Quarter (the neighborhood I know best), but am willing to try almost anything.

Lunch, probably -- need to see parents in B'more later in the day.
Not Penn Quarter, but a thought -- Art and Soul, http://www.artandsouldc.com/download...end-Brunch.pdf
or Chef Geoff Tenleytown?

Shrimp and grits at both!
Or a new place in the Palisades -- I had the pig out sandwich here a few weeks ago.

The Art and Soul menu looks interesting. Plus, I prefer the Capital Hill location. Any other suggestions?
