Good conversation and good food; what more could we want?
I'm going to go ahead & say for me to actually show up when I RSVP? I guess I'll have to make this summer's Annapolis mini-do more fun than last year's.

I've missed all of the HHs. Anyway, I thought I had overlooked a thread about the Annapolis mini-do, but saw that nothing has been announced yet. That sounds like fun. I'll stay tuned for details.

Dangit, figures that just as I discover this thread I missed it. When's the next one?

edit: Oops I see the next one is right in post #1. I'm in for whatever, whenever.

Definitely keep an eye on this thread for updates, but sorry where are you seeing another event planned just yet in the first post? That is where it will be listed, but I only see things that are in the past not future. (btw, gvdIAD, if that list could be flip flopped wouldn't it be easier to read and maintain? )

My feelings exactly.

May I make a short notice suggestion for something this Thursday 7/7 (or Friday 7/8) somewhere in Virginia? Anywhere is fine for us and if it is out a bit, maybe near Tysons, Merrifield, or Fairfax, I can pick up (and drop back off) two or three at an Orange Line station.

I would be up for something on Friday 7/8. Metro accessible in Arlington would be good (I'm staying at the Crystal City Sheraton that night).

Are you mattress hopping, or just don't want to be home much these days?

I can do Friday, too. Does anyone have any suggestions for something in Virginia on the Orange line?

(I'll see about reversing the order of the 1st post when I come up for air after I file a brief on Friday.)

Your part of the country, your call.

If I were picking, I would go for the newish Chef Geoff's in Tysons (I am the chauffeur from Dunn Loring) or maybe Restaurant 3 or the Boulevard Grill further in.

Edited to give a strong push for Lyon Hall, a Bouchon Lyonnais with many beers and a reasonably priced menu. I heard about it a while ago and have wanted to try it ever since.

It is about two blocks from the Clarendon Metro station.

Lyon Hall is a good place, I was actually there last Friday. I'd be up to go again!

Everyone, I can't make it this Friday. I'll be somewhere between LAX and HNL. Enjoy your Friday, nevertheless. Still also looking to have an HH later this month (see Greg's OP) which will be on 7/22 in DC. Xenonym will post with more details by next week.

I'll miss this Friday as well. In Kyoto o n a $595 RT DCA-HND with double miles. Actually missed LAX-HND because of a mechanical DCA-DTW so ended up in BE upstairs on a 74 DTW-NRT (row 77). Trying to decide if the extra EQMs are worth more than a 100% bonus on LAX-HND. I think the EQMs win out.
