Randy, everything that I know about how to best manage my weekly travel I learned on FlyerTalk. You have truly changed my life. Thank you for all that you have done for us.

Randy, not only did FT change my life and that of many of my friends for the better, it has also always been a great pleasure meeting you.
Whatever you do in the future, you can and should always be proud of what you have accomplished with this site. ^

can we do anything??
the careful wording of this farewell makes me wonder if there is something we can do to keep you here-- letters of support? anything at all.
i do not know you, but i have benefitted greatly since coming late to this party and for that i truly thank you and this entire community.
just let us know if we can help.

Many thanks, Randy! Your genius idea touched and turned so many lives! Still, remembering with a big smile my first DO, the PiP, where I had the pleasure to meet you in person. Hope, you will stick around one way or another. At the very least looking forward to still read your take in the column of Inside Flyer magazine!

Thanks Randy,
From my charter subscription to Inside Flyer till today I have enjoyed it all. While I have not been an active poster for awhile now, I have continued reading when I have had the time and continued to learn and benefit from your wisdom and that of the thousands that have joined since the first days.
I hope we all see you in print again somewhere, sometime, and soon!

I will miss you Randy
Randy,
I wanted to offer you my heartfelt best wishes as you move on and spending time with your family. Thanks so much for what you have done for the FlyerTalk Community. Because of you I have learned the ins and outs of the travel industry, being entertained on a long flight with WiFi reading trip reports, spending time at my local coffee shop on Sunday mornings drinking coffee and reading and posting on FT.
Your passion and love for our big family will be sorely missed. I certainly hope you will keep your presence on this forum albeit at a limited capacity. Possibly you could keep your account open and post here and there.
May you be in the best of health and may your Frequent Flier Miles grow.
Yours Truly,
Daniel(A Flyertalk Member and Aficionado for Life)

Thank you Randy for all you've done for all of us here on FT. I remember meeting you for the first time at the Starwood event in Barton Creek, and then at many other FT events (the PiP comes to mind
). Your work here has enriched us all with information, friendship and memories and I wish you all the best in what ever your new direction holds. Good luck to you and please keep in touch!

Thank you, Randy! I am a relative newbie, but FT has changed my life. From a nobody to AA EXP last year with everything I have learned here (and still learning). May I never sit in the back again!
