I got my Plat Benefit Guarantee compensation no problem today. The Guest Relations Manager was familiar with the terms and after some investigation as to what exactly happened (or didn't), I got my $100 in CZK. Thank you, SkiAdcock, for the coaching. No arms had to be twisted, but it was surely invaluable to know what's what.

On PRG-BSL it was a variety of cold smoked meats and olives, with a cooked carrot and cucumber salad, roll, and creme fraiche dessert. The little 73xes got sliced chick and ham cuts, with sweetcorn and the same salad, chocolate and a larger dessert. There was lots of the swiss chocolate to be had - I was given three with my coffee.

Food on the BD162 to LHR was less inspiring, but the distant gate parking at LHR brought an unexpected and delightful surprise for the little 73xes.

Just realised that in all my enthusiasm, I had not yet thanked the wonderful servus for the superb calendar of activities that was the PRG DO. Thank you servus, from all the adl73xes!

Interesting. I suppose your flight was closer to lunchtime than mine. Your meal might have been catered from BSL while mine was from ZRH. I got to the airport early and when I was checking in the guy behind me was checking in for the BSL flight.

Food on the BD162 to LHR was less inspiring, but the distant gate parking at LHR brought an unexpected and delightful surprise for the little 73xes.
On ZRH-MAN it was a piece of steak and a box of Lindt chocolate in addition to the usual ones in red wrappers.

Lovely pictures. I'm sure they enjoyed themselves. ^

Do let me repeat the thanks to servus for a seamless Do! Every event flowed well from ne to another. As always, it is great to see@old friends and meet some new! Well done servus!

Thanks to boxo for sharing her last night at the Marriott lounge... Hoofed it over just in time for 'last call' for some dinner type food...and a minute or so on wi-fi to ease this Smartphone-itis that I suffer from

As for the little adl73x's...they were wonderfully behaved, delightful children who deserved the captain's seat and more! Well done adl73x (and Mrs.!)

Greetings from VIE & now MUC. Not on FT much due to holiday (and also clients asking me to write a bunch of press releases, so working ).

Like others, many thanks to servus for organizing a fabulous PRG Do. Really enjoyed it! And it was great seeing FTers I know & meeting new ones.

I took a few hundred photos, so will upload them in the next week or so & post a link to the thread.

Cheers.

PS - boxo, glad you got the $$.

Arrived home Monday evening - not much to report other than a fairly jittery seat mate during BRU-IAD. He spilt beer on our center console and continued to have close calls throughout the 8hr flight. This added a level of excitement that I wasn't expecting. Also witnessed a woman in near hysterics at the BRU UA transfer desk. She had apparently misplaced her passport on an earlier flight and staff wasn't having any luck finding it on the plane. Lastly, boxo wanted to know how the Prague Airport Transfer was so here goes:

This time I opted for the private car for 550 crowns to be paid in cash. The driver showed up at the Sheraton a little early (prior to 6:15 am) on Monday morning and got me to the airport within 20 minutes. In retrospect, I didn't need to leave that early since the SN ticket counter wasn't even open for my 8:45 am flight. Passed the time in the Menzies lounge, which uses the free airport wifi, and ran into Bundy Bear on my way to the gate. We conversed for a while and then I was off for the U.S.

Good travels to those who are still heading home - or anywhere else for that matter.

Well I want to thank servus for organizing a wonderful DO. My son and I both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It really was wonderful to run into so many people I knew and get to know a little better people whom I had not talked too much.

The weather on Sunday afternoon was delightful. Anyway here are some pictures. Should anybody want any removed please let me know and I will be happy to oblige.

Ditto.

It was great to finally meet the_happiness_store jr after all these years. He really does exist and isn't a figment of your imagination.

It is http://www.prague-airport-shuttle.com/ [/QUOTE] . They ask, if I remember correctly, for 12 hours advance notice. They also offer a shared shuttle service which will stop at several hotels for $15 per person.
