Thanks,
yup i get that exact screen, and then when I click the launch button, it tries to load and then gives the error about "address profiles"
I'll try citi online support (again) and see what's the prob, as I should be able to use it since my screen looks exactly like what you posted.

Looks like some changes are coming "in early summer" - which also implies virtual numbers are NOT going away!
The Virtual Number page now has the following FAQ's on it :
The Virtual Number page now has the following FAQ's on it :
- Why cant I create or update my Virtual Account Numbers up to 12 months? With the upgraded experience on the way, we are setting the maximum expiration to August 2021.
- Will I be able to use my current Virtual Account Numbers at merchants after the new experience is released?Your current Virtual Account Numbers will continue to work at merchants until they expire.
- When will the new upgraded experience be available? We look forward to releasing the improved version in early summer 2021.
- When the new upgraded experience becomes available, will I be able to manage or create Virtual Account Numbers from the old experience? You will not be able to manage or create Virtual Account Numbers using the old experience. However, we will provide view-only access for a limited time so you can see details of your existing Virtual Account Numbers.
- With the upgraded experience on the way, should I continue creating or updating my Virtual Account Numbers? While we do not want to disrupt your continued protection with Virtual Account Numbers, we recommend you limit the amount of new numbers you create as you will need to generate new Virtual Account Numbers from the upgraded experience.
- What can I expect from the upgraded experience? The new experience will make it easier than ever to set up and manage your Virtual Account Numbers. Were looking forward to sharing more details as we get closer to launching the improvements!

Finally got a knowledgeable tech support specialist on the phone who said verbally there's a matrix of which citi cards will continue to have VANs and which don't. Fortunately i have one that will keep it, and i currently have VAN's working on that one card with a non-flash web-based app. Guess it'll improve this summer, but for now it functions like it always used to, so I'm good with it, and glad that VAN's aren't actually disappearing altogether. Perhaps the title ought to be changed for the thread. The tech support person said he was puzzled why they'd scale back VAN's for anyone, but he did acknowledge a few cards had it curtailed for some reason.

Just received an email from Citi :
It includes a link to an FAQ, however that link just takes me to the normal Virtual Account Number page with the same FAQ that's been there for months, although with one comment I hadn't noticed before which is that the VANs will not be available on Visa products which likely explains why some of the cards have lost them recently.
Access in the Citi App is a big win as far as I'm concerned!
In the next several weeks, we'll be enhancing the Virtual Account Number experience in Citi Online.
Enjoy improved convenience, security and access:
* Convenience: manage your virtual account numbers in an updated experience with easier navigation and enhanced options.
* Security: set a daily budget to have better control of your expenses and limit the impact of any potential fraud.
* Access: set up and edit virtual account numbers using the Citi Mobile App.

Just received another email stating :
Within the next week, we'll be enhancing the Virtual Account Number experience in Citi Online.
When I went to use it a few days ago it would not let me set the number of months a new card would be valid for, and when I generated one without setting the expiry it defaulted to an expiry of 8/21 (normally it's at least current month + 1), so clearly they need to get a move on...

Well, seems the upgrade hasn't happened yet.
The old system is still around, and is now allowing generation of VAN's with expiry of either this month or next. (Previously it was only allowing through to the end of August).
