Choice: Your Extras
Huh. Leaning toward the 500 Choice points, naturally. Wonder if it'll stack with hopefully forthcoming "stay 2, get 1"
INTRODUCING: YOUR EXTAS (sic)
SOMETHING EXTRA FOR YOUR MIDWEEK STAYS*
We know you love earning Choice Privileges points, but wouldn’t it be nice if we gave you a little extra? Now traveling during the midweek can be just as exciting as the weekend!

Not working?
I get an error when trying to tick the 500 points box in the Choice Hotels app (invalid entry please review and try again)
On the Choice hotels website under your profile you can check the 500 points box but there's no 'save' option and the box shows unchecked if you go back into your profile...
Anyone else been able to make a selection successfully?

It seemed to save properly for me. I initially chose the $5 starbucks card since I value 500 points at like $3.. and I'll definitely use the starbucks card

Just checked into the Downtown Grand here in Las Vegas. About 2 hours after checkin I had an email with my $5 Starbucks card. A few clicks and $5 was transferred to my regular card. Easy!

I am very frustrated with this program. What good is it if you can't select anything. 2 computers, multiple browsers, and a phone. "Invalid entry error" in all occasions. Asked Choice how to claim for past stays and how to select for future stays. Their response was too check with the hotel. The hotels are clueless how to do this and say contact Choice. What a miserable failure.
The manager at one of my regular locations gave me a restaurant gift card after a lengthy discussion this morning about this program. He made sure to point out it was from him and had nothing to do with Choice.

I have just PM'd you on the same subject - still seems to be a big issue registering for "Your Extras" either on the website or the Android app
thanks

I was having similar issues with the "Extras" not holding (using Chrome). Then I realized that my profile was set to receive airline miles. I had to change that setting to receive actual Choice points. Once that was complete, I could select any of the "extra" options.
Perhaps :extras: are only valid when your profile is set for points only?

So how does the coffee card works ? Is it they will give me the card when I check in ? I saw someone above mention it is via email ? I had a stayed last sunday night, certainly didn't get anything at check in (selected this option in my profile), was going to ask when I check out but totally forgot, and certainly didn't receive any email yet.

As you're the first to indicate here that you're exercising the system, would you please come back to tell how long it took? Thanks.
