China Eastern ticket policies
Does anybody have knowledge of China Eastern policies for
- refund (for ticket canceled before use)
and
- change of one or both dates in itinerary
Would like to have this information on hand in case anything comes up to interfere with my travel plans.

-80%+ of Y, you can do anything you want (fees are really small)
-on cheaper tickets, you can usually change once for free; a refund will get you half of your money back; however, if your flight is delayed (hint: VERY good chance), they will gladly offer you 100% to get you out of their hair

I'm on an international flight (from the US). Traveling economy. But this gives me some idea of the policies, which I assume aren't too much different.
By the way what constitutes a real "delay" in terms of flight departure, in terms of success requesting a refund?
I'm assuming it's got to be more than 15 minutes? hehe...

I have a C business class ticket...called up to ask about change fee for dates and destinations. They quoted some random fee like $63 to make the change plus difference in fare. I get the difference in fare, but where do they come up with these fees? What a random number!
