So what's the big deal, weren't the TSO's dying to get their spiffy new uniforms, anyway?
Is the formaldehyde used to preserve the uniform after it has died, or prevent mildew?

Kinda sad that the TSA has to farm production of its uniforms out to other countries and not support the country it is "sworn" to protect from terrorists.

poetic justice

more often than not, a cream or similar ointment will help alleviate a rash but, gee, those items greater than 3.0 ounces are evil and are not allowed in the sterile area as they can bring about the end of the free world as we know it.
