TSA workers report rashes from uniforms

From the article: "Some Transportation Security Administration workers are reporting severe skin rashes, lightheadedness, swelling and redness in and around the eyes and lips as a result of the blue uniforms"

Made in Mexico. Whew, I thought they might have been made in China... ;)

They need to stop washing them in seized liquids.

No the Mexican uniforms are fine, its the Honduran one's that cause "lightheadedness"

So what's the big deal, weren't the TSO's dying to get their spiffy new uniforms, anyway?
Is the formaldehyde used to preserve the uniform after it has died, or prevent mildew?

Hats off to the blues! Long may they wave! Up dignity and respect!!!

Tighten those ties, TSO's!

Kinda sad that the TSA has to farm production of its uniforms out to other countries and not support the country it is "sworn" to protect from terrorists.

poetic justice

more often than not, a cream or similar ointment will help alleviate a rash but, gee, those items greater than 3.0 ounces are evil and are not allowed in the sterile area as they can bring about the end of the free world as we know it.

All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others...

It's not the uniform, it's the job. Their souls are escaping through their pores.
