n5667 makes a chilling point despite himself in his last post. Until MORE of the competent people DO leave TSA, the lines of oh, so many sheeple still willing to cueue up for their inane public humiliations will simply continue to multiply. We NEED to dumb down the TSA EVEN MORE until more Americans can see what is happening to them. Alas, it's apparently going to take more than a public slap in the face to wake them up.

I take a medicine that needs to be mixed with approximately 8 ounces of water to take. Obtaining that in coach isn't the easiest thing--would packing enough 8 ounce water bottles for the flight be ok? Note, also, that the package labelling makes no mention of mixing it with water, it just says "as directed". (I've had previous labels that didn't even list the dose to be taken, just "take as directed".) The packet of fine print in the box does mention the water requirement.

Is it okey to carry these items in carryon
I plan to fly pbi-bom on DL.
I will have some electronic items with me (laptop,digital camera,camera printer,cordless phone)
since these items are quite expensive for me i was thinking of carrying all these items in my carryon bag.
Can anyone confirm that all these items are allowed to carry on board.

these should all be carry-on, per airlines instructions
All these items are allowed, and both binoculars and scope are also allowed. Airlines don't carry the liability insurance for a $2,500 spotting scope in checked baggage or any other highly valuable optical or electronics items. So they must be carred on. They may be swabbed, looked through, or (as happened to me in one case) the inspector may simply ask how I like the item's optics because he is thinking about buying one of his own.

I was planning to reach airport about 2 hours before the flight (from PBI to ATL and then to BOM in first week of dec). Will that be enough? or should i go earlier?
