Man caught at DFW with multiple weapons

http://www.tsa.gov/press/goodcatch/1...e_weapons.shtm

This is not good enough for him and he was arrested at DFW yesterday early morning. He was being caught with a multiple weapons. He could be deserve banned from TSA checkpoint for 6 months.

Can't you believe this? He have lots of weapons included guns, knives, hand saw and etc.

There's gotta be more to it than this as I'm sorry, but nobody can be THAT stupid (even in Texas ) to try and bring two pistols, three ammo magazines, eight knives and a hand saw thru the checkpoint.

Careful, them there be fighting words!

And yes, people are that stupid, sadly. I have had a passenger tell me they didn't know it was illegal to bring a firearm on the plane. And yes, that particular passenger was arrested. He actually asked me, the STSO, and LEOs, what was the problem, as its just his revolver in his carry-on and he had a license to carry it....

I, too, have a license to carry a firearm. In my CCP class we spent a lot of time discussing those areas where I could not carry my firearm. It was even a question on the test. If he was not stupid, he was very forgetful.

Okay, stupid works too.

If you google this story you find it in two places.

The TSA story quoted above, and Fox repeating the TSA story.

It's strange, usually when something like this happens every news outlet picks it up and doesn't wait for a blog post about it.

I'm thinking there's way more to the story then we are being led to believe.

Not possible.

Fox News checks, checks again, and re-checks their facts before putting out a story

I don't doubt that they caught the weapons. For me, the only thing that counts as a win for TSA is finding something in a manner that didn't exist prior to 9/11. This was caught using the carryon xray screening, not the naked scanners or swabs. They shouldn't be bragging about being competent at their jobs.

I agree! They didn't even say that they were "artfully concealed," so that tells us they didn't have to look too hard, especially since there were so many weapons. Even brain-dead TSOs can outwit brain-dead passengers...just sayin'...
