And yes, people are that stupid, sadly. I have had a passenger tell me they didn't know it was illegal to bring a firearm on the plane. And yes, that particular passenger was arrested. He actually asked me, the STSO, and LEOs, what was the problem, as its just his revolver in his carry-on and he had a license to carry it....

I, too, have a license to carry a firearm. In my CCP class we spent a lot of time discussing those areas where I could not carry my firearm. It was even a question on the test. If he was not stupid, he was very forgetful.

Okay, stupid works too.
