"Cashing In" Chase points...

What about someone who was just laid off unexpectedly near retirement age and has tons of airline miles and hotel miles that they accumulated while working?

And who mostly stays in smaller towns where Hyatt is not present.

For them, using Chase points for "cashing in" might make sense, even though for someone else who's still young and staying at hotels for work "cashing in" might not make sense.

The needs of everyone are different.
