Instead of new MyBonus emails I am now getting reminder emails for the $15 offers for spending $100/$150 on Utilities, insurance, transit and gym, complete with countdown clock. Apparently they don’t realize that I have already received my credits after splitting my insurance payment in December across all my targeted Chase cards…

Maybe, just maybe they’ll roll out new offers when the countdown clock expires?

Same. The email told me they know that I've activated the promo, but did not acknowledge that I've already charged the bill and received the credit.

Same with me

I think one quarter last year they didnt start until the 15th. Maybe the same thing this quarter, after these Promos expire?

I received the $15 statement credit off $100 or $150 offer in bills / utilities offer on 3 cards (Chase Freedom, United Gateway, United Explorer). $100 threshold for CF, $150 for the United cards.

I paid $100 to Xcel Energy on December 15 on my Chase Freedom but have yet to see the credit come... Reading upthread it looks like maybe one person has received the credit already?

Curious to see how long the credit typically takes to post... I'm holding off on making more utility payments until I know I can get the credit (as I'm essentially just pre-paying down my electricity bill).

Can’t tell you how long it took - the posting date for the credit is the same as the original transaction, but they all posted in less than two weeks for me.

Are you sure the required spend wasn’t perhaps $150? I had $100 on some cards and $150 on others:

UA Gateway: $100 spend, $15 credit
UA Explorer: $150 spend, $15 credit
IHG Select: $100 spend, $15 credit
CFU: $150 spend, $15 credit

CF was $100 spend, $15 credit. My United cards were $150 spend, $15 credit so I definitely fulfilled the CF requirements (actual charge was $101.80 due to a processing fee).

Not sure if worth a secure message or something to Chase as I'm sure I'll get a "please wait X number of weeks after the promotion period for your credit to post."

The utility credit posted at the same time as the transaction for me. If it hasn't posted with the transaction then it isn't likely to.

Lol, this actually might be user error. I had activated both of the offers on the United cards but looks like I didn't activate the offer on my CF card before submitting the charge. Nice!

Looks like there are a few reports in the blogosphere of sporadic Q1 offers.

To follow-up, I had charged a utility bill on my CFU on 12/15. No credit but it turns out I hadn't activated the offer.

Activated on 1/3 and then charged again. The credit just posted today with a date of 12/15.

Reading the terms of the email offer, I see:

* To be eligible for this bonus offer, you must activate by 1/15/2411:59 p.m. E.T. You will qualify for and receive your bonus if you make Purchases with your credit card that total an amount at or above the specified target amount during the promotional period in the following rewards categories: fitness club and gym memberships; utilities; internet, cable, and phone services; insurance; or/and local transit/commuting (excluding airline purchases).

So it seems like as long as you activate the offer, any spend during the promotional period (even before activation) counts.

I used the offer ($100 Utility/ $15 credit) on my Chase FF card back in December and received the $15 credit
the other day I received another email for the same offer on the same card
Can I do it again or is it one time per account?

It is the same offer period so only once per account. They've been repeatedly sending me the offer as well even though I took advantage at the start of the offer period. Annoying.
